Hudson Jeans Union Jack billboard...

Hudson Jeans Union Jack billboardUsually it's the red and blue Stars and Stripes flying above the rooftops in L.A., so it's strange to see the British flag so prominent in the Californian sky and that's what makes it stand out so much.

The reason for this billboard then, you ask? The Union Jack design usually adorns the clothes of jeanswear brand Hudson, so there's your answer. It's a British fashion invasion.

This fashion billboard was photographed atop the tall (by L.A. standards) building at the intersection of Highland and Franklin Avenue on May 21, 2010.
