You have Adult Swim to thank for quite possibly the creepiest billboard around L.A. at the moment. But then that all depends I suppose on if you like clowns or not.

This disturbing looking fella (Rob Corddry), with a painted clown face and blood on his scrubs certainly makes me feel a little queasy. From the blood dripping from the show's title, Childrens Hospital, I'm guessing this isn't cute and cuddly viewing, but then what do you expect from edgy Adult Swim.

Apparently this hit web series, which parodies melodramatic medical shows like Grey's Anatomy and ER, is making its move to television. So tune in to find out if the show is as interesting as the eye-catching billboard.

This billboard for Grown Ups is a really novel approach to marketing a comedy movie, by using photos of the stars as kids.

Not only does it tie-in with the whole theme of the movie, but it also creates interest because it's fun to see what the actors looked like when they were younger.

Just wow. Is anyone else out there getting super excited about Tron Legacy yet? This latest teaser billboard for the forthcoming Disney sci-fi sequel is one of the best yet and it literally glows in the dark, just like the light-suits worn in the movie.

This is Garrett Hedlund as Sam Flynn, who after looking into his father's disappearance gets pulled into the same cyber world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his dad, Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), has been living for twenty years.

Get even more geeked out by checking out the Tron Legacy Lightcycle bike reproduction from the forthcoming movie that was on display at the E3 Expo in L.A.

BONUS WEEK: Universal Studios Hollywood attractions billboards...

To finish off this exciting installment of BONUS WEEK, here are two great billboards for attractions at Universal Studios Hollywood in L.A.

First up is a billboard literally bursting with life for the new King Kong 360/3D ride, which claims to be the world's most intense 3D experience. This billboard take along Sunset Boulevard on June 15, 2010, really grabs your attention in the same way that it looks like the giant gorilla is grabbing hold of the billboard hoarding.

Next is an advertisement from the previous year, July 4, 2009, along Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, for the new musical attraction based on the classic horror movie, Creature from the Black Lagoon.

I love the juxtaposition of the iconic horror monster, the Gill-Man, holding a very modern microphone as if he's performing some karaoke. The quirky visual certainly catches your eye.

BONUS WEEK: Virgin America Airline billboards...

BONUS WEEK continues with two more great Virgin America billboards from the airline's latest advertising campaign.

The previous creative featured on Daily Billboard proved quite popular, but I'm not sure if that was due to the brand or the beefy male model featured on the billboard.

I love the fun tag-lines 'Fly like an exec, pay like a temp', plus I think the latest billboard is especially appropriate for Daily Billboard as it appears I'll be able blog away to my heart's content from thousands of miles up in the air with their inflight WiFi.

This campaign still remains youthful, colourful, witty and vibrant, plus it gets their brand positioning and benefits over so effortlessly. It certainly makes me want to fly Virgin America.

These airline billboards were photographed on May 12 and June 16 2010 along Melrose Avenue in L.A., respectively.

BONUS WEEK: Entourage season six and seven TV billboards...

Entourage holds a special place in Daily Billboard history as the season five billboard was the star of our first daily installment in January this year.

The latest billboard has a great L.A. feel to it with the view of Downtown's skyscraper cityscape in the background, whilst the season six promo billboard has that drinking buddy atmosphere in some L.A. hotspot.

Notice how Entourage's characters are in the same positions from season to season, from left to right, Ari, Turtle, Vince, Drama and Eric. Mere coincidence, or maybe contractual?

The billboard for Entourage series seven was photographed on Melrose Avenue on June 16, 2010 and season six billboard snapped on Sunset Boulevard on June 21, 2009.

BONUS WEEK: Inception movie billboards...

Is anyone else out there excited about Christopher Nolan's new movie, Inception?

It's nice to have a film shrouded in mystery and for the studio to be so tight-lipped around a movie, so that the viewing audience can fully appreciate it when they finally see it.

These two billboards from The Dark Knight's director seem visually intriguing and the general premise about technology being used to invade people's dreams seems to have exciting potential.

Let's hope it'll be another summer blockbuster and not as disappointing as Leonardo DiCaprio's last movie, Shutter Island.

I dare anyone not to have a wry smile on their face after seeing these tongue-in-cheek billboards for the comedy-drama series 'Hung'.

Thomas Jane stars as the financially-strapped dad and high-school baseball coach who resorts to being pimped out by his female friend as a male prostitute to make some extra cash.

The billboards are simple, humourous and effective, without being too vulgar, for the gigolo themed television show.
