Precious really didn't make my 'spirit soar', but it does have Oscar-worthy performances by its cast and is a heart-wrenching tale that deserves to be shared (and seen). This billboard highlighting the film's critical acclaim was photographed on December 8, 2009 along the Sunset Strip in L.A.
Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire (to give it its full title) is up for six Oscars including Best Picture, Directing, Film Editing, Writing (Adapted Screenplay) and for Gabourey Sidibe for Actress in a Leading Role and Mo'Nique for Actress in a Supporting Role.
