This 'Original crime family' teaser for Showtime's The Borgias series makes for an arresting visual with its questionable mix of religion and implied sexual content.
The second creative for the new period costume drama has Oscar-winner Jeremy Irons as 'Pope Alexander', along with the rest of the criminal cast from 15th century Italy at the height of the Renaissance. Especially clever is the arch providing a halo effect behind the man of the cloth.
Looking at these creatives Daily Billboard can't help but be reminded of Showtime's billboards for The Tudors, which also had its share of historic political and sexual intrigue.
