BONUS DAY: Svedka Vodka billboards...

We saw Svedka Vodka's Fembots have more fun creative early this week at Daily Billboard, now here's the rest of the new tongue-in-cheek campaign.

These billboards are witty, cleverly aimed at their target market and reinforce practical applications for the spirit as a mixer.

They also make the most of this fantastic female robot character they'd created, who is really eye-catching and oddly alluring.

Daily Billboard especially likes the amusing gay-friendly billboards in support of 'robot-robot marriage' and the proud 'We're here. We're clear. Get used to it'.

These new, fun creatives were photographed around the streets of West Hollywood during the infrequent sunny days of March 2011.

DUO DAY: The Borgias TV billboards...

This 'Original crime family' teaser for Showtime's The Borgias series makes for an arresting visual with its questionable mix of religion and implied sexual content.

The second creative for the new period costume drama has Oscar-winner Jeremy Irons as 'Pope Alexander', along with the rest of the criminal cast from 15th century Italy at the height of the Renaissance. Especially clever is the arch providing a halo effect behind the man of the cloth.

Looking at these creatives Daily Billboard can't help but be reminded of Showtime's billboards for The Tudors, which also had its share of historic political and sexual intrigue.

2(x)ist Neon male underwear billboard...

Need a little colour in your life to brighten your wardrobe?

This sexy creative for 2(x)ist's new Neon range of men's underwear certainly catches your eye with its tanned and toned male model, Andre Ziehe, doing his own version of a pole dance with those glowing neon tube lights.

It's nice to see someone other than AussieBum and Armani Exchange bring the sexy back to the streets of West Hollywood.

Svedka Vodka Fembots have more fun billboard...

She's back, and better than ever.

Svedka Vodka's sexy robot (which sounds wrong when you say it, but makes perfect sense when you see her) is back to strut her stuff in a fabulous new ad campaign that builds on its previous fun creatives. This colourful billboard makes it look like she's striking a pose at a nightclub with that funky illuminated dance floor.

Kate Winslet Mildred Pierce TV billboards...

Daily Billboard wonders if television is getting more and more sophisticated these days. It's not just the special effects and big scale productions, but also the Oscar-winning talent it's been attracting of late to helm new mini-series and TV shows.

Take for example Kate Winslet starring in HBO's Mildred Pierce, collaborating with director, Todd Haynes, the Oscar-nominated writer of Far From Heaven.

These eye-catching green billboard creatives were snapped above Fountain and Highland Avenues on March 6 and the giant version on the 9000 building along Sunset Boulevard on March 21, 2011. They really stand out against that California blue sky.

FASHION WEEK: CK One billboards...

This in-your-face billboard for Calvin Klein One really is an arresting image and the camera perspective almost makes you feel like the model, Lara Stone, is reaching out to you.

This CK One underwear campaign billboard was snapped along Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood on March 22, 2011.

This fresh and fun creative for Kate Spade, featuring Bryce Dallas Howard with a megaphone, really does look like she's using it to sing her siren song to grab your attention.

This spectacular giant creative was photographed on March 6 on the side of the Andaz Hotel on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. The smaller format billboard was snapped along Beverly Boulevard on March 22, 2011.

FASHION WEEK: Banana Republic Journey in Style billboards...

Daily Billboard really loves this new season campaign for Banana Republic, which really does make you want to fall in love with Spring and journey in style.

These three dreamy creatives, which star Jamie Dornan, Angela Lindvall and other gorgeous models, were snapped along Robertson Boulevard, Fairfax Avenue and La Brea Avenue on February 27, 2011.

Plus this fourth fresh-faced creative was snapped today and replaced the car billboard above along Robertson Boulevard.

FASHION WEEK: Alexander Skarsgard Hickey Freeman billboard...

True Blood star, Alexander Skarsgard, looks exceptionally dashing in this cool billboard for suit maker brand, Hickey Freeman.

There's nothing like a brooding and sexy Nordic vampire to make an outfit look even more stylish.

This fashionable billboard was snapped striking a pose along Sunset Boulevard on March 5, 2011.

FASHION WEEK: Asics Sound Mind Sound Body billboards...

Welcome to another FASHION WEEK here at Daily Billboard and to kick us off we have some great sportswear which is both stylish and extremely practical.

These sporty billboards are in honour of the L.A. Marathon which takes place today (and Daily Billboard will be running in).

I love this campaign for Asics, which shows all the worry, stress, pain and negative thoughts being shed, in the first creative as the runner is encouraged by the crowds of onlookers, and secondly by the sense of accomplishment and freedom you get just from running.

Obviously it helps if you look good when you're doing it.

The first billboard was snapped along Santa Monica Boulevard, ironically above fast food chain McDonalds, on February 22 and the other runner creatives on March 6, 2011 along Sunset Boulevard. All the billboards can be found along the 'Stadium to Sea' L.A. Marathon course this year.

In addition here are two other billboards for Asics, this time photographed near the Big Apple's Times Square on November 14, 2010 following the recent New York Marathon.

TRIO DAY: Evian water Live Young billboards...

Daily Billboard really likes this youthful campaign for Evian water. It's a cool campaign that seems to work across any age, gender or ethnicity, and the clever baby t-shirt helps reinforce the TV campaign which features those slightly creepy roller-skating babies.

The mostly white creative helps reinforce the concept of the water purity and really stands out against that wonderful California blue sky. And even though the water bottle placement looks slightly awkward in some of the photos, they are not totally intrusive or too in-your-face.

The smaller, squarer billboard version was snapped along Sunset Boulevard on February 4, whilst the two larger creatives were photographed along Melrose Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard on February 22, 2011.
