The British invasion continues with this fantastic billboard for BBC sci-fi series Torchwood.The third season of Torchwood deviated from its usual episodic formula and instead was a five night event called Children of Earth. They certainly tried to up the stakes and action quota and even ex-policewoman Gwen Cooper ominously posing with her two guns suggested this season was going to be different from what had gone before.
It was a great mini-series and now apparently Captain Jack Harkness (played by John Barrowman) and the Torchwood crew (or what's left of them) are heading stateside, along with creator Russell T. Davies, as U.S. cable channel Starz is developing ten new episodes of this Doctor Who spin-off for Summer 2011.
And for those not in the know, Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who, where Captain Jack first appeared.
