For me this mono billboard for the Hale Bob fashion brand evokes Madonna's 1989 black-and-white music video 'Cherish', when she plays with buff mermen amongst the surf. The long hair of some of the male models are also reminiscent of those 90's muscular pin-up models.I'm not sure if that was the feeling the art director was going for, but it still has fresh, summery beach feel as well.
